Is the weld broken off of the frame? Or did the frame tear at the point it is welded? It kinda looks like the frame is torn. Could you get it cut off and plated before Moab?

Yeah I know. Just something I didn't really plan on or want to fix.

It's a stress crack from frame flex. The whole weld is not broke, just cracked about 2/3 of the diameter. I'm cutting the whole thing off, plating the the frame, welding the hoop to the plate, and then a triangle gusset up the tube and back across the top of the frame.
    Basically

Brings Up a GOOD point..... Is there any cert. LEXUS/TOYOTA tech/mechanic going that can truly explain how the AHC works on Daisy.... the more i read about it the more i don't think i want to get rid of it. Also anyone Use TechStream... supposedly it works really well for $35 dollars.. i think i read it works with 1996+ toyota, lexus and scion in the US market...

Where are you getting sliders this close to go time? Thats the one thing I want, but dont have. I'd make them myself but im not home near any equipment to do the job.

ETA: I have a favor to ask of someone that is coming. I want to order a few delorme atlas & gazetteers, but I dont have an address they can be delivered to as im currently living out of the back of the truck in Arizona. Would somebody be willing to let me have them shipped to their place and then bring them with? Would be much appreciated.
