Got my oring! Now i just need to install it! Thanks quirt and jon!

Edit: just installed oring. Hell of a time getting the ecoblock to mate with the maf. Had to spit on it to ease it in (thats what she said). Fired the truck up, no cel. Sprayed some maf cleaner around the seam, no evidence of a leak. Gonna monitor the ltft on the drive into work tomorrow morning. Will report back. Again, thanks quirt and jon.

You are welcome! FYI... my GF helped pick out that oring, hence the need to spit on it ;)

Yeah, im gonna keep my mouth shut on that one. Regarding whyj's post on ltft. Im still showing on my torque app that im running around +12-15 ish. I do notice a punchier throttle. Not sure about mpg's cause i didn't have a baseline to judge from. Is this normal or ok?

That is totally normal and as expected when the ECU in running in closed loop fueling. That is the amount of fuel needed to offset the Eco Block so it gets back to 14.7 to 1 AFR.

OK, here's my short experience with the Eco-Block installed on my 2013 Taco, DCLB. Prior to the installation of the Eco-Block in mid March 2015 I took a road trip. Conditions: Stock TRD Sport, OEM 265/65/17 tires inflated to 38 PSI. All gas used is 87 Octane. Did not use the air conditioning at all. All highway travel. One driver (200 LB), plus about 100 LB of luggage/gear, ARE Shell (175 LB). Total weight: 475 LB. All mileage numbers calculated using the miles driven divided by gallons used method.

    PRE-Install

80+ MPH (cruise control): 16.1 MPG, 68° OAT, Flat Hwy, FL/GA I-75/Turnpike. No A/C, (three tanks averaged).

75 MPH (cruise control): 17.7 MPG, KY/TN, some hills. 55° OAT, No A/C, (two tanks averaged).

    ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

    Post-Install

All City driving during Jan/Feb: 15.1 MPG, OAT 20°, lots of winter warm-ups etc. No A/C, heater used extensively, (four tanks averaged). Some heavy snow driving. Occasionally two passengers, total weight never exceeding 450 LB.

April 2015, Highway trip on I-64 East, ARE Shell (175 lb), 300 lbs total weight of passenger, luggage and gear. No lift, OEM 265/65/17 tires inflated to 38 PSI. Total weight carried 475 lbs. 87 octane gas.

    Tank 1: 143 miles on 7.46 gal. = 19.2 MPG, OAT 60°. 75 MPH on cruise control, No A/C, 87 octane gas (I-64 East KY/VA)
    Tank 2: 262 miles on 14.04 gal. = 18.71 MPG, OAT 60°. 75 MPH on cruise control, No A/C,
    Tank 3: 183 miles on 9.34 gal. = 19.59 MPG, OAT 62°. 70 MPH cruise control, No A/C (I-70 in MD)
    Tank 4: 282 miles on 14.5 gal. = 19.45 MPG, OAT 62°. 70 MPH cruise control, No A/C

*Average MPG for the above tanks (without using A/C) is: 19.23 MPG

    Tank 5: 201 miles on 12.25 gal. = 16.41 MPG, OAT 82°. 80 MPH cruise control, with A/C
    Tank 6: 182 miles on 10.9 gal. = 16.69 MPG, OAT 82°. 80 MPH cruise control, with A/C
    Tank 7: 191 miles on 11.2 gal. = 17.05 MPG, OAT 85°. Mixed/City driving, with A/C

*Average MPG for the above tanks (using A/C) is: 16.71 MPG

May 2015, Highway trip on I-65 north. ARE Shell (175 LB), 5 men @ 200 LB each, bed filled with luggage and fishing gear, 50 LB per bag, 50 LB other gear. Total weight: 1425 LB.

    Tank 1: 303 miles on 17.0 gal. = 17.82 MPG, OAT 70°. 80 MPH cruise control, No A/C.
    Tank 2: 181 miles on 10.2 gal. = 17.74 MPG, OAT 70°. 80 MPH cruise control, No A/C.
    Tank 3: 271 miles on 15.7 gal. = 17.26 MPG, OAT 67°. 80 MPH cruise control, No A/C.

*Average MPG for the above tanks (without using A/C) is: 17.60 MPG

    Tank 4
: 245 miles on 14.7 gal. = 16.66 MPG, OAT 60°. 70 MPH cruise, towing boat and trailer, same men. Total weight 1850 LB, No A/C
Tank 5: 256 miles on 15.7 gal. = 16.30 MPG, OAT 60°. Mixed highway/backcountry driving, towing boat and trailer, same men. No A/C. Total weight 1850 LB, No A/C
Tank 6: 205 miles on 12.8 gal. = 16.01 MPG, OAT 60°. Mixed highway/backcountry driving, towing boat and trailer, same men. No A/C. Total weight 1850 LB, No A/C

*Average MPG for the above tanks (without using A/C) is: 16.32 MPG

    Conclusions:

    1. It appears that after installing the Eco-Block, the Taco gained more than 1, but less than 2 MPG (1.53 to be exact) for similar driving conditions.
    2. The use of A/C really sucks away MPGs.
    3. Towing a boat/trailer/guys/gear with the Eco-Block produced good MPGs IMO.
    4. Winter driving conditions (and winter gas) are the devil.

Yes, but not the fish I really wanted: Muskie. Those darn things are elusive!

I've never fished for them specifically, but I've heard stories. Trophy fish for sure.

It's too bad about the dyno - on multiple fronts. I was looking forward to seeing the results. It's really too bad about the truck rolling, Moab....it looks like? I hope the driver fared well, apart from truck damage.

Yes, it was in Moab. Driver and his dog were both okay. I'm interested to see dyno numbers too, but mostly for my own curiosity. I have had the eco block in for over 10,000km now.

Well its a land Cruiser with a diesel so I've got that going for me.
Called that Monday and left a message for yah Quirt. Wish I could have gotten her on your dyno...she wasn't doing much on her own power after the part out in Moab.
