I'm trying not to, but since about 3 weeks after spring break I haven't been all that motivated and haven't been meeting my workout goals (4 good workouts a week) consistently.

Damn, that sounds like a lot of fun.

Sweet, let me know how it shoots.

Had a pretty good workout today, trainer made me come up with half of the workout and she covered the other half, did some abs and other core work, sprints, push-ups and squats, and finished it with a 1 mile run, pace was 11:00 min/mile but I ran the full mile and my trainer ran it with me so I'm feeling good.

Now we have to make sure we eat clean for at least a week, no alcohol, unnecessary carbs, make sure we practice portion control, and minimal whites for me, no whites for her.

There were only 3 other people in there when I was there. It was awesome. No one talked. So much better than the evenings.

And, I told you ON's pre sucked. Check out the BB.com page for pre Jym. It looks like a pretty good complex. We'll see. I'll have to order it tomorrow. I just got in from rib night...which turned into rib night, a bunch of beer, late night boat ride, jumping in the lake in underwear, and then hitting golf balls until 1 am. So...I wasn't home to order. Now it's time for bed so I can get up at 6 and hit chest/tris in the morning.

Unlike Zach I am pretty happy with ON's PRE. However, I am interested in preJYM. However, the price is kind of a turn off for me. It had better turn me the fuck up! I have been taking this stuff from time to time and it isn't too bad... Of course expensive too http://www.nubreednutrition.com/undisputed/ Has di-meth in it though :p

Up at 6am and back asleep by 6:01am :anonymous:

At lunch, I'm gonna bring my gym stuff and pre-workout to work, so I can just take the pre-workout around 4:45 and be at the gym around 5:05, compared to having to go home and play with the dogs, etc., so I should be back home by 6 this afternoon. Gonna try for the morning again Thursday.

    Upper-A yesterday:

    decline bench: 135x10, 225x10, 275x6, 225x8
    svend press: 3 sets of 15, 14, 12 w/ 2 10 lb plates (I really like this)
    v-grip lat-pulldown: 3 sets of 15, 13, 10 @ 215
    v-grip t-bar rows: 90x16, 135x10, 135x9
    standing dumbbell overhead press: 3 sets of 12, 10, 8 w/ 55 lb dumbbells
dumbbell shrugs: 2 sets of 15, 12 w/ 105 lb dumbbells (no straps, which kinda sucks b/c I'm improving grip, but my traps suffer because my grip goes out before my traps do...I might bring back the straps just for this exercise)
    standing EZ-bar curl: 3 sets of 17, 15, 14 @ 75 lbs (1 wide, 1 med, 1 narrow grip)
    bent-over triceps dumbbell extensions: 3 sets of 10 w/ 40, 35, 30 lb dumbbell
    forearms

Also, I don't know how many of you eat eggs religiously like I do (6 whites and 2 yellows every morning), but my fiancee found a recipe on Pinterest that is pretty damn good. You crack the eggs into a cupcake/muffin pan (1 egg per hole), put in whatever ingredients you want (I used hot sauce and pepper) and bake them for like 20 mins @ 350. I have gotten so fed up peeling boiled eggs that I've gone outside and thrown them across the yard and I get sick of having to try to eat scrambled eggs on the way to work, so these egg muffins are a godsend because you can eat them like cookies. I'm thinking about adding in some spinach and bacon bits tomorrow.

    Here's what they look like:

    And with bacon :dancingbacon::dancingbacon::dancingbacon::dancingbacon::dancingbacon::dancingbacon::dancingbacon::dancingbacon::dancingbacon::dancingbacon:

Do you not let your eggs sit for a week or so before boiling them? Boiling eggs is an art man.

I've tried every technique out there and I still always have about half of them fuck up when peeling them. Every time I fucking lose it too lol. Last year, I went outside and chucked one right into the side of Amy's car on accident...I thought she was going to murder me. I like them better baked anyway.

wrist/shoulder/back are still bugging me, so i've spent the week with baby weights and power movements trying to fix my oly form, playing with bar positions and setups for my clean

did a bunch of sets of power/hang cleans tonight, grabbed a vid of my last burnout set. So far I see I'm leading with my head into the pull, using a little too much arms, and am slow as a fat fuck under the bar

any oly guys wanna tear my nooby form apart?
I apologize for desecrating my ancestors pride and posting a vertical video. gymbro is not with the times

Just saw this Yahoo! article about the Rock's diet. I don't know what's more entertaining, the lack of knowledge from the author of the article or the 'comments' section.

    Best quote from the article:

"According to the plan, the San Andreas star downs...30 grams casein protein (whatever that is)...each day."

That is a metric fuq ton of food, though.

I asked the (good looking) women in the office and they said they prefer a man that is in shape...while running their finger across my chest :notsure:

I think it's just an excuse for lazy girls to be out of shape. If they're too lazy to get their ass in the gym, they know it's pretty unlikely that someone in good shape is going to be attracted to them, so they just invent the 'dad bod' to make themselves feel better about themselves...all while allowing an entire group of idiot men who buy into it to set the bar low and strive for nothing greater than sub-par.

But, it actually works out for those of us who do strive to look better because (for those of you who are single) it's less competition lol. Fit girls are gonna continue to go after fit guys and fat girls are gonna go after the 'dad bod'....more power to all of them. I'm just glad my fiancee thinks the 'dad bod' is as stupid as I do. I'd be worried if she came up to me and was like, "ew, you're too muscular...go eat some pizza and put some damn fat on them muscles." I'm sure if I told her to lay off the squats because I like a big, fat pancake ass, she'd test out that new Glock I just bought on me

As Dom said, "he is a human Ugg...the sweat pants of people." hahahaha
