    Any of yall moved your cv boots higher on the axle to prevent them from rubbing the ribs? I've heard you could use a hose clamp and tighten it down hard so they won't slip.

    That's one way to do it. If it's the inner boot I've had good luck so far with Dorman silicone boots. I just finished putting one on.
