I really like my Tacoma, but there is one feature that I think is all but totally useless. That's the clock. The red display doesn't show up very good at all! In the day time it's hard to see, especially if your wearing sunglasses. I like to run my headlights all the time for safety. And, with the headlights on in the daytime, the way that the clock display dims, it might as well not be there..... you can't even see it even without sunglasses on!

So.... what feature on your Tacoma do you think is useless or should at least be better?

When I have my mega-ring of work keys clipped to my truck keys, I let them rest there to keep weight off the ignition cylinder.

Yeah, I do that sometimes to keep them from clanking around. Didn't think about that.

I would not say the in bed 115 outlet is "all but totally useless", but I would say it is very close to it. If they had made it where it was always on full power by switch or always off by switch instead of 400 on idling and 100 on driving then it would have been more useful, but even then it should have been 750 watt. While I have used it while driving not much can be plugged in to the outlet while driving with just 100 watts/.86 amps @115 volts of power available and that makes it nearly useless.

    Agreed.

400 watts isn't enough juice. 750 would be way more useful.

Clock on my 2013 is white, its very easily read.

Also love my little cubby on the left side. That houses my switches. 1. for ABS/TRAC/VSC off on the fly 2. Locker any time 3. rearview camera any time 4. radio on any time (really useful if your just chilling but dont want to leave keys in the ignition to listen to music.

But for useless or most useless features i would say the 110v AC socket in the bed.... i have used it once only to test it in the almost 2 years of owning my truck.... the 12v socket / pigtail i have wired to the back of the bed however, invaluable, i use it all the time.
