    My skid after 2 trips to Rausch, I wasn't too impressed with the POR15. I was leaving sheets of paint on the rocks. I have since had it blasted and painted it with the old Rustolum. I finally got around to installing my trans skid today.

    POR 15 works great on metal that's already rusty. On bare steel you've got to prep it just right and then top coat it. Easier to just do what you did.

    Luckily the dirt covers most of my scratches. Natural rust proofing. :p I do think I need to hit up BPF to sturdy up my t-case skid a bit. Think I bent it up a tad last trip.
