AZ BS Thread 2.0

It seems to be working with some hiccups every now and again. Ill probably end up pulling it this summer. I think Im going to go relatively cheap and replace it with a single din and some components for the doors and build it up slowly from there. Does anyone have any thoughts on replacement decks? I want BT phone and streaming capability, CD, and USB (preferably front). Two that Im thinking about now are the Alpine CDE-153BT and Kenwood Excelon KDC-X799.

 

Yeah well .40 cal meds will pretty much cure anything . . .

 

Alpine over Kenwood. But really it will be more of what you like and feels natural to you.

 

Getting rid of the ones I'm running now in favor of these. Old ones were only 16x7, the LC's are 16x8.

Woot, guy called me back about my bike and figured out the issue. Once we can find parts it should be ready to rock and roll. Perfect timing for the heat

The ones Tim specifies to go with, spoke at length this morning with him and came away with a very strong impression that what ever the man recommends on a kit that nearly bankrupted him and his company because he just simply 'had to not only get it right, but get it perfect' is what I'll go with. The man is Legitimacy in every sense . . .

 

Well they have 2 different SUA leaf packs from what I understand.

 

They have the Kick Ass leaf pack with some payload capacity and the kick ass leaf pack with even more payload capacity . . .

 

Sounds about right. I know that TCs MT SUA kit lists 2 different packs from Deaver. I assume one is close to a expo pack in capacity

 

Indeed, he spoke in detail the process endured to spec the leaf packs to perform with a short bed, with a long bed, with the vehicle being loaded down with armor, tools, extra fuel and spare tires, the other set is one where the vehicle is empty with minimal weight. Essentially the typical weekend warrior out with friends and family having fun and the other being for the serious offloading enthusiast who is carrying everything needed for the unexpected . . .

Fuck, I've got my last final of the semester tomorrow and I can hardly focus. I feel as if I know everything already but I'm sure I don't.

 

Seems like we need to meet since we share the same needs in quality suspension! I wish I could get mine done soon, but that will be a project saved for the end of the year
