jason would you suggest that he did a space saver bed cage? or just do pelfry shock hoops?

 

If he wants over 12" shocks he's going to need to cut into the bed I think.

 

Depends on intended use. If he needs the entire bed or doesn't want to cut into the bed and is willing to sacrifice a little travel I would go with the Pelfy towers. To maximise the kit with the shocks at good motion ratios bed cage is ideal.

 

Does anyone have a TW sticker I could have?

 

I have one that I'm not sure if I'm putting on. Kinda leaving the truck sticker less at the moment. I don't even have King stickers showing on my reservoirs

14" of droop and 12" or less on compression as I don't want to cut into the bed until the warranty period is up . . .

Bed cage will be what I eventually get to once the warranty period is up in 4yrs or less, Tim did say droop will be unaffected and limited by the 12" shock and the way they are mounted in cantilever it yields about 14'"s of travel. As I am unwilling to cut into the bed or bed sides up travel will be considerably shorter and mitigated by custom bump stop mounts to hydro/air bumps. Not a concern for me as I'm looking for more control and the longer I can keep the wheel traction to the ground the better, up travel is secondary and I'm not kidding myself, I'm not a professional baja driver and won't huck and jump the truck with ill conceived expectations of grandeur . . .

 

This is the exact setup I'm heading to on mine. I'm keeping SOA, but doing a hoop with a 12" shock. I haven't heard that called cantilever though, I thought that is when the shocks are almost horizontal.
