They had crazy prices for the addition of the Spacers, Chrome Grille, Bug Guard, Side Steps, OEM Roof Rack, Thule Rack, Window Visors, Skid Plate, Wheels, Tires, Bed Extender and Bed Step. The thing had literally every accessory you could possibly imagine. It even had a stupid "PX" sticker where the TRD sticker is on the bed for "Pullman (the name of the dealership) Extreme". The salesman pointed that out to me specifically. Much happier with my TRD O/R that was 7k cheaper.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
These lifts are pretty much the whole reason Northwest Motorsports is still in business.

My dealer up here uses Old Man Emu kits on their lot lifts.

I was at the dealer on Wednesday and they had a Prerunner DCSB TRD sport with a top plate spacer/block lift with tires and wheels with a sticker price at 36,900. Around $6k for a cheap lift and wheels/tires.

Not up here in Kali. Glad to hear someone is doing it right. I'd still rather choose the lift myself. They did offer to add an EMU lift and roll it into the financing - Once I mentioned I planned to go EMU.

They should significantly reduce the price for screwing it up with a spacer lift.

    Too few to list.
Not all dealer lifts are bad. I remember back in 2009, Norwalk Toyota lifted a prerunner with King coilovers, Demello tube bumpers and sliders, Mickey Thompson wheels and BFG's. Good components, badly priced. They wanted almost $10k for the addition.

You forgot to mention financing.....lots of folks go for the dealer added crap as it is rolled into the price and they can pay the high price plus the financing on the over priced add ons! Folsom Lake Toyota here in NorCal does a lot of the spacer lift / tube steps / bug shield...crap on most of their trucks.....

Not too common here. Even though the dealer always has anywhere from 10-12 Tacomas on the lot, they leave them untouched.

I noticed today on my way to the gym they only had 8. I wonder if they are already scaling back orders while waiting for the 16.

They have had the same 6 Tundra's for a month lol.

*EDIT: no idea why "gym" was in all caps...

I want to call them and laugh so hard they hang up from discomfort. That is outright ridiculous on so many levels and for so many reasons. Just looking at the "features" list makes me scoff.

Not to mention 14 city/11 highway. Oh really Cochrane Toyota??

If it was 4 years ago when he was looking at it, I guess it may have been a new one at that time :notsure: Seems to be about what other dealers are pricing with the added parts now.
