I agree, I could careless as well, but the truck is gonna have heated seats, mirrors, leather, sunroof, projector headlights, crawl control, wireless cell phone charging, but no power seats?!

It's weird how seeing the gen 3 at different angles and in different lighting makes it look different. I think this picture makes the gen 3 look really nice.

Agree, it looks great from every side except the front. If toyota had spent more time/thought on it they could have nailed this truck out of the park. I like the limited and that color, just cant get over that front end.

The front end is the worst part about the new Taco. Grille seems tolerable when blackened out. Without the gangster rapper grille.

    Thanks, Captain!
I'm in the Southeast Region and have seen the packages on the 2015 Tacoma online. The Access Cab seems somewhat limited with only the SR5 package, or that seems all it would let me select. The Limited and TRD wouldn't let me select them on the Access Cab. Perhaps that will change in 2016. Sounds like the Soft-Tex would suffice although my last two Hondas had/have leather. My wife/ finance manager likes leather (heated) and from time to time I do try to please her. :)

I must be odd because I like the grill.

That must be because of available inventory of 2015s. Talk to an inventory manager regarding what can ordered, and you'll get different answers.

We have Soft-Tex in my wife's Prius, and so far no one has become glued to the seats when in shorts.

Thanks again. I think Soft-tex is probably more slippery than cloth, which at our advanced status and age is enough.

Anyone have a guess as to what a fully loaded Tacoma is gonna run us?

Id say similar if not 1-2k more than the GM twins and or current taco, a loaded up Canyon is $41k, current limited tacoma's are 38k, I wouldn't be surprised when an optioned out limited as shown with the prototype runs $40k.

Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
Fully loaded. Mid 30s after discount. But if you pick up a sport, and buy leather you could get it in the low 30s easily. Limited is a joke in taco. Also for the access cabs you can definitely get a trd sport or a offroad. You cannot get a limited. There is an option like leather called all weather seating vut I have not seen it in person yet. For the southeast you can view all the regions inventory on a dealers site. If you need help I will post a link for you. Also check out RH toyota in Baltimore Maryland. They have prices that are worth your drive OR you can tell a southeast dealer to match or come close.

Haha oh you mean 2016. Well. Who knows, I expect a 1-3k bump in prices from current myself.

Also it depends on your opinion of fully loaded. The pro hurts the bank. Uf you wanted an automatic pro uou should be able to get a little off like normal but good luck on a 6spd. There are so few its full retail with no lube.

I agree, but I bet we will see one for 2017.

Wait, a 2017 Ford Ranger? That sounds pretty threatening.

Zach I'm referring to this post
Not to derail but looking at the 2017 Ranger (Which is not listed as a future vehicle on Ford's page) I also found the 2016 and 2017 Raptors. Those things look tough and the power is just insane. Making my eyes wander...

My bad, lol. Ya my dad is thinking about trading his 14 raptor when the 17's come out, might have to ask him for a family discount on buying his 14 from him. I dont think the ranger is coming here, Its already all over the global market, it wouldnt have been hard for ford to bring it here, dont think they're interested. When I was deployed we had a few leased ones out there, I liked them alot.

He has a 14 Raptor? Honestly I don't like the 1st generation of Raptors. But this new one looks awesome. And yeah I don't think the Ranger is coming to USA. How would you compare them to a Tacoma?

Ya he traded his Excursion in on it after me and him drove by the ford dealer and I pointed it out, he had no knowledge of the truck until that point, lol, now he loves it, my parents work hard and own their own business, so he deserves it. I get the privilege of driving it on occasion when Im home to visit it and the thing is amazing, but its quite wide and cumbersome to drive, guess you get used to it. As far as the ranger it was nice, smooth and quiet, but smaller than the tacoma, more car like, similar to the hilux's we drove out there.

Glad he likes it, how much was it?? I love the look but I'm not sure I would like driving something so flashy, I don't like to scream, "Look at me!" I take pride in the Taco and the fact that by using my knowledge of the truck and offroading I know how to make it as capable as a Raptor, but of course we all take pride in what we live with. I also don't pay anybody to do anything I can do so you can see how I would have trouble buying a factory offroad performance truck. But that's not to discredit the fact that it's a sweet ride.
