    I just got lost on ttora for about 3-4 hours. that place is filled with older toyota trucks and I'm learning a lot about my 89. I'm amazed at how much I WANT to learn about these trucks. Makes me wonder if somehow I can steer my career someway with learning about them in some capacity. Maybe I should work for toyota lol

    New Taco owner here - purchased an '06 Silver Crew Cab 4x4 TRD SR5, Long Bed. It had 110k at time of purchase, about a month ago (in Winston Salem). I live in North Raleigh/Wake Forest. The Taco is mostly stock but I am slowly changing that. It did come with fairly fresh tires. 265/70/R17 which I believe are around 32". As of Tuesday, I have added 4" nerf bars and tinted the front windows. (Before and After pic below) Tomorrow it is going back to get in-channel visors installed. I also added a bed mat. When it comes time to put new tires on I want to lift/level it and clear another couple inch or so of tire.Does anyone have any exhaust mods? I am toying with the idea of flows but from the youtube videos I have seen the V6 Tacomas sound like a '97 Honda Civic when you put any 'loud' exhaust on.

    If you don't do the mods yourself, where around Raleigh do you like? I had Wakefield ATV do the nerf, tint, and visors.

    The exhaust that I've liked the sound the best is the Gibson exhaust. I do all of my own work, aside from alignment and warranty work, as well as a few other guys lol.
