where the pics of pismo stuck- did no one bring a stinkin camera??

 

i dont have any pics of me in the act of being stuck.

here's one from last winter though.


i was attempting to drift a turn (the road is only used to access a parking garage, and this was taken around midnight when all the cars were gone) and ended up in a snow drift. i came from the left of the speed limit sign, lost control and went in the side. turned my truck 90 degrees haha.

luckily a plow truck came and yanked me out. the driver was really cool...he was like "having some fun out here? I remember doing this shit when i was young. slow down and stay safe"

Here's Silverback07 high centered on his skidplate. Basically he knocked down this sandbank so everyone else could get over it! haha

Here's Sockmonkey stuck in some sand. It wasn't his fault. Right in front of the truck is a pretty big dropoff and you have to slow down at the top of the hill, so you can get a good approach angle, so you don't tip over. He did the right thing by stopping.

Oh and we snapped a tow strap earlier trying to get Silverback07 out....^^^ gotta love those ARB recovery straps.

Yea I have a few.. Still havent learned my lesson.. I am gonna get the sticker, "If you aint stuck, you aint tryin" It seems like everytime I go get muddy I get stuck... but thats the fun..

 

I've got that sticker on the back window of my truck Looks like you need to get yourself a little bit of lift and some M/Ts

 

Plans in the works for some 285's and a revtek kit... The more I go out and get stuck the more I use that as my reasoning for the lift / tires

 

Yeah, dont forget that with the truck being more capable after larger tires and lift that when you get stuck, you'll be STUCK!

I actually didn't get stuck here. I cleared the water, but I took in too much water and stalled the engine on the exit.

 

LOL so inother words you were stuck because you stalled the engine... JP

 

I was on my way out and the truck just died. I was sad.

I was only about 3 feet from making it too ...but the worst part cleaning it after.

 

Like hydrolocked it? How does water in the engine stall it but not destroy it?
