I am also saving for this budget range and lift for my 15 AC TRD OR. Ive done a lot of research, but there will be lots of opinions.

OME or Billy 5100 fronts and rear shocks. OME 885 or eibach lift springs up front, + taco lean spacer for driver side. Progressive 3 leaf AAL out back. New UCA's.

Or you could do an OME kit with new UCA's for 1500

I have always considered the toytec kit to be WAY overpriced... all it is is 5100's ($320 bucks normally) springs ($170), and a single leaf AAL (75 bucks) Total of a little less than 600 bucks which they sell for 2x.

OK yes you get the adjustable collars but in the end, do you really need that fine of adjustment over your lift for an extra 600 bucks? Id rather spend the difference on some good UCA's from JBA etc.

I think adjustability is important. As I mod and add wieght to my truck Im able to compensate easily in my drive way in a matter of minutes instead of buying new coils.

True for a bitchin rig like you got, yes having that finite adjustment is good. But for a rig like yours you are not going with adjustable 5100's... you have proper shit from ICON / FOX / KING

At that price almost your only choice for something remotely close to "done right" is OME Nitrochargers and Dakar with LR UCAs. That will be right at about $1500.

LR UCA is $400 and for 3" lift you really need to do aftermarket UCAs or you will have steering and tire wear problems. So you need some sort of UCA and the LR is presently the cheapest good option out there that will let you get good alignment at 3" of lift. Add a $100 or so and you have more options for UCAs.

At 3" lift for the rear you are looking at new leafs and the OME Dakar is a good reasonably priced choice. All Pro is also in the same ballpark price and performance wise.

Nitrochargers are a good twin tube shock. For your price range a monotube shock with adjustable coilover is out of your price range I think unless you do the rest of the lift job poorly (e.g. use stock UCAs and some sort of an add a leaf or blocks on the rear).

The above setup is a good lift with good off road performance lots of people use with great success and are quite happy with for years.

If you just want to mall crawl and don't care if the truck is constantly trying to wander all over the road then there are probably a lot of other half-assed options out there. I'm just not familiar with them. You don't say if you want lift and off-road performance or just a lift for looks.
