Yea, he bought my kit and a buddy of mine and I installed it and built the hoop at Tyler's shop in a day...

Yea, however with a full 62" SUA kit running off a shock hoop kind of defeats the purpose. You need to understand that the biggest benefit of going SUA are the up travel gains, but you still need to run a shock long enough to fully droop out the springs to see the full benefit. The real proper way to do this is a bedcage. When you try to run off a shock hoop on a kit like this you are going to be limiting one of these numbers, most people limit up travel since they want that cool fully drooped out look when its on the lift or in the air. I'm willing to bet that this setup will be close to riding on bumps all the time with like 2-3" of total up travel and maybe 10-11 down. Not saying it wont work, it just wont work as well as it should.

My buddy was able to get like 13.5" of travel out of Pats setup when we put it on since he ran a shorter shock and the defined kit doesn't droop out nearly as far as the DMZ. The bottom of his shock was basically even with the bottom of his frame at full bump and still had 1/2" of shock left at full droop. Pat sat basically right in the middle at like 6" up and 7" down which is going to out perform an incorrectly set up 62" kit all day.

How hard is it to mount a 30" light bar in the bottom front bumper? Also would it be better to sit it back or make some cuts and mount farther forward?

After i took 2 leafs out man my rear was butter!


But in reguards to the last page, Tim never touched my truck, Jake Gort did the rear end, I had planned on him doing a strut tower brace but we never got further than pricing and potential dates.
