    Everybody remember the snow storms we had a few months ago? Yeah, well my Galaxy phone had been broken since then, but I finally got it fixed today! Horray! I had been using an iPhone 3G since then. I am so happy now!

    I'll post update with more exact time/date when I know for sure. CMan has done the install on his truck and bought the same sliders from SOS Concepts, so I'm already dragging him up to give a hand, but a third set of hands will really help. Hoping to hear from Eddy/Fastenal today that they've arrived. Was supposed to go out of town this weekend for an Astorphotography workshop, but with 60% chance of rain for Saturday night that appears to be likely postponed so my aim is to at least get the things painted this weekend.

    Well, word from Eddy is that the sliders are still at a hub somewhere in Texas, so not holding out a lot of hope getting the sliders in the next 48hrs. Maybe delivery early next week, get 'em painted mid-week, maybe. Fingers Crossed.

    Too poor to list anything interesting.
    Mine were sitting in a Fastenal location for a week near my before they were about to be shipped to another one which was further away. Worse part was when I called to ask if they were there, they kept saying no. It wasn't until I went there in person that they magically found them.

    Good looking treads. I'm debating on when/what to do about lift myself. I'm not wanting to do a full 3", my wife will never be able to get into the truck - the sliders going on will make that difficult enough for her. Thinking 2" up front and a 1.5" AAL in back. Just not sure what combo of OME is going to give me the lift I want without being too little if I add a little weight up front, or too much requiring UCA's and a step stool.

    Yes.
    I'm in a holding pattern. I've been looking at OME with a Dakar Leaf pack. As well as the Rad Flo 2.5 shocks, also with the OME Dakar Leaf pack. Now I'm seeing photos and people talk about the Bilstein 6112 shocks, and that seems like it might make a nice middle ground for the shocks between the OME shocks, and the Rad Flos.

    Anyone here have an opinion for or against any of the above, or want to make my life harder with yet another suggestion?

    I have Icon stage 4 with Dakar rear leafs. I like all of it and have experimented with the front coils cranked up and now back down. Too much preload is a bad thing. The Daks seem to be capable of carrying anything. I'm sure I could put a bigger load in the bed than the axel seals would handle and the Daks would take it. However, they do squeak. Doesn't bother me, I have a stereo, but they squeak. I'm not sure if other springs have that issue.

    Bought an Undercover Classic on Craigslist today. Listed for $200, everything looked to be there. Begged the guy to hold it. Got there today in the rain on Harry Hines in Dallas. I drive under their overhang to get out of the rain, the guy motions for me to pull into a certain area and pays special attention to my dealer tag still on the back. Looks me dead in the eye and says "There is your cover, the price is now $300". !@#$!

    Got a little pissed, thought about it, tried to haggle, failed. Realized it was still a good deal even at $300. Realized that somebody else would pay that in a heartbeat if they relisted it and telling them to stick it wouldn't help be get the bed cover I needed. Paid the extra $100 and made them install it while I helped.

    Ask for the keys to the locks, they say they don't have them and walk off.

    Sometimes I really hate Craigslist....
