Damn man..that shit looks rusty as all hell. glad I haven't run into this problem yet (knock on wood) but now I'm sitting here with one new joint halfway in and no loctite for the new bolts. Not trying to make you feel worse because I can imagine how frustrating that is but just voicing my own LBJ issues. Although not nearly as severe.

 

Yeah, I'm finding that I like MN winters less and less every year.

The culprit has been found

 

Changed the oil, washed, clay bared, waxed, cleaned the inside, and cant forget the tire wet. Its gotta look good at the mall right?
Had to go take some pics before the rain started, didn't quite beat the rain. Oh well.
Its definitely time to take this poor thing offroad again.

Well, I decided that I should also remove my swaybar as my coils are stiff as hell anyway. So I gave the bolts some WD40 and let em sit for about 3 hours and then came out and took it off no problem. 20 years those bolts have been on there and in 35 minutes it was off. I think I'll leave it off for Spring and Summer and then put it back on for rain and snow seasons, not hard to remove so why risk it. Rides like a cloud on dirt roads now, no more shaking me to death.

I second that. What did you use for bulbs and mounting? Might have to do the same rather than relocating to the headlights.
