    Gotta say... I'm with jberry on this one.

    My parents live in north western NJ, beautiful country (believe it or not, lots of farms and woods. Hell, the App. trail is their back yard, in the Del. Water Gap.). When I lived there 12 years ago we didn't have the amount of bears they have now! My father will send me pics every so often of 300+# black bears in his yard. When we moved to where they live now, in 1996, we didn't see bears, ever (although we knew they were there). Now, there are open bear hunts during hunting season where they live, just 19 years later.

    Yes, we moved into there territory, I understand that, but now we live amongst them, and they do things like this. It is easier for them to find food, so they don't go far, which helps them breed, more or less, so there are more of them.

    Times change, as much as we hate it.
