Go STEELERS!Was born there and that's my team for life!Who cares about this exhausting stupidity that makes me not want to watch ESPN and other sports networks but wants something legit to happen and get rid of Roger Goodell who will probably go down as the most money makin comissioner who didn't do anything except put money in his pocket by relying on others to make the final decisions. The NFL shield is embarrassing wether a team is dirty or the overall organization of the league is legit!Continue to root for your true team cause its all about money made one direction or the other!Go STEELERS!

LOL!I'll go with Johnny Cash! This picture doesn't look proper! Not to be mean but there is a picture of Brady and Bruce Jenner out there that could bring on some more curiosities of what deflated feels like!

Yes. This is much ado about nothing. If the NFL is so bent about the damned ball then use just one stinking ball for the whole game. Simple as that. Why must there be a ball for the place kicker, the punter, the offense? Bunch of freakin' haters pissed off cause their team ain't got 4 Trophies.

I hear ya Don5352.Brady is a hall of famer and i don't care for the Patriots or Brady.I'm not hating either cause my STEELERS got 6 Lombardi trophies! Was born in Pittsburgh and that's my team even though i've lived the majority of my life in CA.

The hilarious part about all of this is the fact that every single one of you Pats fans would pull a complete 180 if this same situation happened to any of the other teams. The only reason it's too severe for the crime is because it's your Pats that got their fingers slammed in the cookie jar.

If this happened to the NY Giants, Boston would be having a parade celebrating the integrity of the NFL commissioner.

And yes, my team doesn't have 4 trophies. It has six. :bananadance:

Doubtful. Speaking personally, I didn't care much about any of the other 'scandals' that have hit the news in the last few years about any other team in the NFL. The only ones that have truly pissed me off was the Bounty System that the Saints had in place, and the Ray Rice debacle. (FWIW, I think that suspending Sean Payton for the entire season was excessive, and that suspending Ray Rice for two games wasn't severe enough)
I got pissed at Mike Tomlin for 'wandering' out onto the field and redirecting that run by Jacoby Jones, but the league fined him and I called it good. My being pissed at him only lasted for the rest of the game and then for a few days after; I didn't spend six months squawking about it.
I got pissed at Sal Alaosi (spelling?) when he tripped a Miami player back in 2010 or 11, but again it only lasted a couple of days. I thought his suspension was deserved, and his fine of $25k wasn't excessive. (As a disclaimer, I can't stand the Jets and I hate Rex Ryan).

Like a lot of fans, I just really like watching football. There's not a lot of teams I dislike, and the only one I really hate are the aforementioned Jets.
But, it's pretty well documented that a LOT of fans hate the Patriots, so whenever a bunch of butthurts who've spent 15 years losing to New England turn into a rabid Pitchfork & Torch mob it's not that surprising anymore.

And it's too bad that none of those six trophies are named "Lombardi" :stirthepot:

Well said Noel and I feel the same way. One other thing you missed was the Adrian Peterson case. I feel as if he and Ray Rice should have had more severe punishments for their behavior. Those were after all actual crimes and the league does have rules about personal conduct. The teams both seemed to do good jobs about it though.

My issue with this whole "Deflate-gate" (stupid name, btw) thing is the fact that the Patriots are still maintaining that they did absolutely nothing even remotely wrong. C'mon guys, you got caught with your hand in the cookie jar. Appeal the ruling, get a reduced sentence, move on with football. But instead, Kraft is ranting and raving about how the NFL is out to get his club and conducted a sting operation just because the NFL apparently hates it when a team is really popular and successful...

If he had just said "We disagree with the Wells report and are appealing the reprimand", I'd shrug it off. But man, did you read the rebuttal they released? Who the hell calls himself "the Deflator" when he's trying to lose weight?

Looks to me like all six say Lombardi. :D

And FWIW, I think Tomlin should've been suspended a game for interfering with Jones' return.

Rats, I forgot about that one. I was irritated at the League's "You can't play. Ok, you can play this game. NOW you can't play. Well... we'll see" handling of it.

Oh, I thought you were talking about Kansas State, because of your avatar pic, lol.

I agree on both parts. The Pats should just appeal and shut their mouths and the issue will eventually go away. I think Tomlin knew exactly where he was and even if he didn't a 1 game would keep him much more aware of it. BTW fining these rich bastards is just for us to think they had a punishment but in reality with the money they all make it doesn't put a dent on their accounts. It's like fining me $5.

Yeah... my pro team has better success than my alma mater... but hey, we have Snyder, it's always fun watching him coach 1-2 star prospects up to beating 3-4 star ones. Still wish Arthur Brown would've gone to a different team: why'd my favorite K-State defender have to go to the enemy (Ravens)?
