So I drive a 2000 2.4L V4 5 lug, I recently bought a 2.5 inch lift and 32x11.50 R15 tires for my truck not realizing the lift I got would only fit on 6 lugs (I'm a dumbass) so I'm returned the lift and need to purchase a new one... I have found two that I believe have everything but I just want to make sure since I'm so unsure now:
    http://4x4.fatbobsgarage.com/toyota-tacoma-2wd-5-lug-fabtech-3-spindle-lift-1995-2004-p2138.aspx

    http://offroadwarehouse.com/i-11650...ocks-for-95-5-04-toyota-tacoma-5-lug-2wd.html

Would either of these work and is there anything else I'll need? Please let me know so I don't screw it up again... Thanks

those lift the front via a spindle. it will work but you wont really gain anything except lift, No additional articulation.

The 5 lugs were not meant to be lifted so the suspension is very small.

You can go full out and get a total chaos long travel kit but if you want a lifted truck, sell yours as is and buy a 6 lug.

The MPG and power loss with 32 inch tires on the little 2rz even with gears is going to suck!

Not to mention but those spindle kits are garbage, You have a spring under rear end leaf pack setup so unless you go with some crazy shackles or a custom leaf pack.. the rear end stays the same.

just to give you ideas, I have a 97 5 lug and my lift has been ordered and its being shipped now. I went with the 3'' fabtech spindles a 2'' AAL for the rear and then a 3'' body lift from 4crawler and Im regearing to 4.11s. My plan is to see how 32s fit and if they won't fit well then I'm gonna run 31s. I could be wrong, I've been wrong before haha, but there's a calculator on here that you can use for the gear ratios and it says 4.11s will return the truck to stock performance.... TBH like taco me elmo said I don't think the regear will actually give stock performance, but hey its a project have fun with it.

Yea definitely, are you buying a full kit or buy the spindles and AAL seperately? and also would I need the body lift to be able to fit 32's?

Its actually a funny story, the picture advertised with the spindles showed a 2" AAL fabtech shocks(front & rear) and the 3 "spindles. I ordered it and realized it was only the spindles (thats what happens when you don't read). I got the spindles in then ordered the AAL seperatley, but from what I've read running 32s with only the spindles would probably be difficult, I'm not gonna say its impossible because lord knows someone somewhere has made it happen. Like i said I'm gonna try and run 32s but if I don't like what I see I'm gonna go with 31s

If it's not too much to ask could you possibly send me the links to where you got the spindles, AAL's and body lift? Thanks so much for all your help
