Hard time getting adjusted to a Truck

HI all Ive had my 10 Tacoma TRDfor almost two weeks now and cant seems to get adjusted to a truck. I really miss driving a car. Driving a truck is different then driving a small sporty car like CIVIC SI. Even those

I really wanna buy a car again but I just took a loan of 28K for this Truck. Any suggestions. I only have 491 miles on truck as of today.

 

youve only had it for 2 weeks, you will get used to it, just remember, you now own the greatest truck of all time!

if you decide to get rid of it however, dont sweat it, somehow, with almost 10k miles on my truck, its only depreciated around 600$...i paid 29000 for mine

Uhhh...sorry that sucks. But eventually you'll get used to it. I had to get used to the size and length of my tacoma from my small ford ranger. Took some time.
Just wait till you have projects to do outside and you get to use your truck bed! That definitely beats a honda civic anyday!

We have a Tacoma and an Integra SiR, no one drives the Integra.

 

You should immediately tell everyone in your unit that you would rather drive a Civic than a truck. That will help.

And remember, "don't ask, don't tell".

You'll get use to it trust me before I got my DC taco I was in a little red e30 coupe and it took me about two weeks to get use to this beast.

 

Took me a while to get used to it from a gen 1 tacoma to gen 2 due to the size. Give it a little while dude.

 

Then why did you buy it?

Get your butt out there and go for a drive. A long one. Then, enjoy the luxury of being able to stretch out and not drive a girly-car when you're done.

So it's a tad longer. Get over it. Every car is different. And as trucks go, Taco's are easy to drive, practically a car! Go rent an F150 for the day if you don't believe me.

 

A Civic Si will never pull women like a truck. Maybe that helps....

 

when i got my tacoma i agree it did feel weird, being that i was higher off the ground compared to my previous accord. but eventually youll get used to it. i ended up loving my truck and dont miss being so low to the ground anymore. plus the chicks dig trucks man, psssh i thought u knew that by now. dont get into the civic/ricer scene that thing is for lil kids in high school.

 

give it some time, you are going to like these trucks. yeah they aren't souped up and quick like a civic but they are damn good and reliable. you will not regret this buy for sure!

 

Oooooo he's in dat der Army, poor little guy. He'll figure it out guys, statistically he'll be a couple weeks late figuring most anything out unfortunately. Just gotta bear with him fellas...
