Ask keak. I think to clear that you need 5100's

You'll probably have to do a CMC to clear those tires too...

First step, take off fenders and bedsides. Then take out your db lift so you're factory height again. Put the 40s on and then turn all the way in each direction then use a sawzall cut the fuck out of anything that the tires touch.

No, I went the easy route and just put 5100's on the truck. I could pretty much clear 46's if I wanted to thanks to these bad boys.

Since you have 5100, your opinion is invalid. Thanks for playing

Lift helps. But 4Ds are massive.

I was able to get away with 6"/37's for awhile with cmc/pinchweld/ hammer.

But now installing the red goat fab body mounts (keak did also). + tub so I can turn while flexing. Not saying it can't be done but to actually fit a 40 will take work!

    Keak btw v

Keak has a 6 inch drop bracket lift with a 3 inch body lift. His cab mounts are almost completly shaved off to fit his 40's. It looks sick but its tippy as hell. scares the shit out of me everytime we wheel together. And yes he is running 5100s with a spacer but he just picked up some 6 inch procomp coil overs....

Cant tell if serious? How could someone run 40's on stock gears? It amazes me that stock axles kinda work for 40s

Lol i was wondering if he was serious as well. But yes, I'm running 4.88. Which are good for 37s. Should be ok for 40s. But at the end, might stick with 37s.

I can't believe you're looking at installing more lift before you have added a snorkel or front and rear fire extinguishers. Pontoons might be a good idea too...
