This reminds me I need to spray the yard with bug and insect killer. Before the girlfriends dog winds up with them.

Really random, and way after the fact but Mike, did you ever get to applying the AmsOil Metal Protector this winter? If so, how'd it work?

Nope, life happened and I still have a case of it sitting in my basement. It'll get applied this summer.
I bought the Fluid Film kit and sold it before using it. I used the free sample can that was given away here a while ago as a test and decided it wasn't for me. It never dries so it attracts dirt and grime and, after a while, it leaves a black film on anything that rubs up against it. I do all my work on my vehicles so I didn't want to deal with that every time I needed to wrench on the truck. I ended up buying an Amsoil product but still need to apply it. It's supposed to dry to a waxy finish so no residue to wipe off on you.

Nice! Did you ever go to the BMW motorcycle museum when it was set up in Albany? It was a neat exhibit and had motorcycles from every era.

Sadly, my bike is getting sold this year. It's getting tuned up now and will be on the market next week.

I like the cold because I can always put more layers on to keep warm. When it's 100 degrees, I can only take so much off...

I didn't even know it was up there, but i've been to the one in SC and Munich. I come from a BMW family and my dad's a pilot so obviously he's a nut for them

No time to ride? BTW i'm a buyer for a dealership, let me know if you want to sell it to me and i'll get you an offer

That's awesome! The one in Albany was years ago, when I was still living there so at least 10 years now. It moved to a few cities, not sure where it went afterwards.

I'm just looking to sell it, I don't care to who. I'll shoot you a message with the bike details so you can see if it's something you'd want to buy at your dealership.

Nice. If your loading them in the bed of your truck I would recommend you get one of the relentless tailgate protectors

The relentless one is stronger because it goes over the top and the bends add a lot of strength. I have the aluminum one and its great.

Too bad they don't make it set flush, though. I hate the way that bend stands out from the tailgate itself.
