    Photobucket takes forever.

Seriously though guys (Andre and Manny) what do you guys think of my wheel problem?

Should I take it directly to Toyota or should I see what a tire shop says first about alignment. I looked at my steering rods, and the driver's side is definitely a little off, but it's not broken. The joints just look like they need a little adjustment.

You just inspired me to get a roof rack and maybe those wheels! They are the countersteers right?

Well I'm not too good in the mechanical aspect of the tie rods but heres my logic:

    DEALERSHIP:
The Toyota Dealerships charge $89 for a diagnostic. If your tie rods arent broken and you just need an alignment your going to have to pay the $89 for the diagnostic just for them to tell you that an alignment is needed, THEN youll have to pay for the alignment too.

    ALIGNMENT SHOP
If you take it to a trustworthy alignment shop they'll align it for ~$70 and if this tie rod is indeed broken, MOST LIKELY, theyll tell you we cant perform an alignment bc the tie rods are broken. At which point you get a free diagnostic.

So, I would take it to an alignment ship bc you wont really lose money whereas TOYOTA you may

    Hope that helps.

I agree with Manny. the dealers would charge you 80-120 just to look at it. Take it to a reputable Alignment shop or a Reputable mechanic and have them look at it. Probably just needs to be adjusted. the steering wheel on my truck was off by a 1/4 of a turn after an alignment they straightened it out by adjusting it.
