I bought my Taco last Saturday:
'08 PreRunner Double Cab, 4x2, V6, Long Bed, Silver
options came with it (already installed): TRD Sport Pkg #1, V6 Towing Pkg, Carpet Floor Mat, Exhaust Tip
    - MSRP at $27,936.00 (including Delivery Fee but pre-tax and license)

I got it for $27,200.00 out the door (after everything). And no, I did not choose the $1000 rebate, I went for special finance rate. Oh, and I also get $500 gas card as the special promotion for Memorial weekend.
Was that a good price? By the way, I bought it at Longo Toyota in El Monte, SoCal.

2008 Indigo Ink 4x2 Access Cab with I4 auto, convenience package/mats for $19193.61 out the door.

I asked the salesman, jokingly, if there anything free that I could have, he said " I am going to get you some Tacoma mats in a moment." :D

There was 153 miles on the odometer.

I go to church with the dealers's family. I told Jim tonight that "I got my Baptist discount when I got my truck." He just chuckled and asked what I bought and how I liked it.

I love your saying. My Bro is a CFII. He will love it. CFI`s learn to sweat only on the right side of their face. Rod Machado, CFII, told me that one.

I paid $25,000 for an `06 TRD Off Road w/ tow pkg. Access with 7,700 mls. on it. The dealer used it as a personel ride, so it had extras, such as a matched topper, sound system, better tires, etc.
I put on a police push bar wrap around grill and grills on the tail lamps. Police grill lights, overhead gun racks, a console and floor safe, and a TRD Cat Back exhaust system.
After the election, I will super charge it if I can still buy the fuel that it needs. All disagree with Bush on ethanol. McCain wrote a bill to stop it. So, absent something unforseen, I should be OK. I need the low RPM torque for the farm. I bought it to work, but I hate to lose that milage.

I got 24+ MPG with the stock exhaust in part hwy. and more two lane with towns to Oshkosh for the fly in and back last July.
I`m thinking; if it works, don`t fix it.

Seems like I got a good deal, it only had 3.6 miles on it.

I went through a buddy of mine who is an auto broker in Denver...MSRP was somewhere around $32K+ for 2008 TRD Sport V6 double cab shortbed auto. I got it below invoice at $27.9K with no dealer handling fees...tax was lame at $2K, though.

I bought mine yesterday. A 2008 DC LB 4x4 Speedway Blue with TRD Sport pkg 1 & 2, towing package. MSRP at 31,165. I paid 28,617 plus TT&T. It wasn't at my local dealer, they had to trade for it. I only wanted the blue LB. I got 7k for my 97 extra cab 4x4 LTD.
