I ended up finding a used spindle from a 4 runner to replace the one with the seized bolt.
I hope you have better luck and get it un-stuck!

 

Both a good reads, JLee's is completely out of my realm of offroading so its super fun to see what he does. Blackdawg's is super well documented and fun to watch it change and most of what he does is the stuff I like to do too.

 

Just picked up a thrush welded muffler for my tacoma

 

Just ordered some parts for my co2 setup. Now i just need a tank
Maybe gonna be able to go camping next weekend too

 

I have some brake and suspension work planned for the summer and with everyone having frozen bolt problems this week I panicked and did some research on penetrants.

This stuff is the highest reviewed product I could find. Anybody used Aero Kroil? At any rate I have some coming so I will post back if it is voodoo magic.

I've used it, it is certainly very good but I usually opt not to buy it because no one near me sells it and it is priced a bit high. I think if it was more available I'd buy it more often though. Has really good penetration and is especially good on things that have "rust welded" together.

 

Frustrated, just got word that my seats I ordered from MasterCraft 11 weeks ago will be shipping on Thursday, two days before I leave! What a tease. What's frustrating is they said 5 weeks when I ordered them, oh well!! At least I'll have nice seats after the trip lol

You did mean sway bar, right?

 

Only added lumbar support, after 8 weeks they finally told me that they had no seat frames, wish they would have just told me from the beginning. Willing to bet they didn't have the frames when I originally ordered them.


I digress, yes I got the Baja RS. I was looking at the Corbeaus but a lot of their components and mechanisms are plastic vs. metal on the MC. They are twice the price, but also twice the seat.
