    You did better than I did. Took me 3hrs and I never did get the CV out. I ended up leaving the inner in the diff and rebooting it like that. I should have bought a slide hammer

    Used a big flathead screwdriver, the foot and a half ones. A pry bar would be a lot easier. You gotta be careful with the "dust shield" but if it gets bent or pryed off it's easy enough to bend straight.

    Yeah I was trying to avoid messing that up so I was prying in front of it. I have to do the other side tomorrow, I'll try again. The slide hammer is still probably going to happen.

    The southeast overland CV puller works great and it takes up no space so it's an awesome trail tool to have.

    This.. I like tools that can be used for multiple things.
    I've used my big screwdrivers to get CV's out of front wheel drive transaxles, it's nice to know we don't need something special.
