That poor guys truck will be worth $20,000 next year. My 2014 4x4 off road Tacoma is worth what I paid for it a year ago.

Interesting post. I considered an F150 and got them down $11000 off MSRP. Pretty truck but it was huge. A nice wood hauler but did I say it was huge? I'm waiting for the 2016 Access Cab 4x4 V6 SR5 to come out as there are no other logical options.

My 04 GEN1 has 245k miles on it and purrs like a kitten, doubt if the Ford will go a quarter of that before it starts breaking down. Like the saying says a fool and his money are soon parted Ill stick with Toyota.

On average. 20% less than msrp. Most buy at least 10% off msrp.

It's true. I looked up my value about a month and a half ago and it was a few hundred more than I paid. Now I do know the owner of the dealership and I have purchased many vehicles from them in the past so I did get a good deal.

That's a better deal than buying a Super Awesome truck(no complaints) for 45k and a year later selling it for 40k in my book:thumbsup:

I doubt that the Ford will break down at 60K miles.

Change in direction at my employment. Good timing. Got an excellent trade value. And an excellent price on the new Tacoma. And I really like the Tacoma. My 3rd one.

That's great that you had a good experience with the Ford, but only owning it for only 1 year and then taking a $5k lose(good trade in value?) change of direct at work? doesn't really make sense. By the way Im a Toyota Fan Boy with good reason>Ford
