2016 Taco spotted on transporter truck in Charlotte, NC

Co-worker just informed me he saw the new 2016 Tacoma on I-85 in Charlotte this morning. It was white. It was a double cab. It was the only one on the truck, along with Camrys and Corollas

 

Are you sure he didn't just see me driving home form Uptown this morning and is color blind

but here comes what everyone is waiting for

 

Probably going to a dealer for a show and tell session like the orange TRD we have documents in pics in this forum. Charlotte area Taco owners check with your dealers to see who's going to have it on the lot.

 

just talked to the dealer. looks like its going to the race track for show, the coca cola 600 is coming up. the dealer said none are allocated to any dealers yet

 

seems legit - I sat through a BoA 500 it was terrible... adding another 100 would have killed me

 

OK so we have blue,quicksand,orange,white and obviously black. That's five colors.Now we are getting somewhere.lol!

 

The nascar all star race is this weekend in Charlotte. My guess is it's headed to the speedway area.

I wouldn't be surprised if some are spotted driving around without camo now. A few months of before the Colorado/Canyon launch I saw a Canyon driving on the Interstate near where I live in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

 

Anythings better than the tan color I suppose.

 

A guy in my neighborhood had a Colorado parked in his driveway before they were released. He has a new vehicle of various makes with manufacturing plates on them about every 2 weeks.

 

Funny you mention the tan(Quicksand) color. The picture of that color under the lights at a shown it looks terrible. Kind of yellow. Yuck! But pictures of the Tacoma outside is the Quicksand color look really nice IMO. So much so I am actually thinking about going with that color.We will have to see what other colors become available on the Gen 3 Tacoma before I will know for sure.

They better have a graphite/charcoal color. I want that with some black wheels

 

White and black? I haven't seen those yet. Looks like I have some searching to do!

 

I haven't seen an orange taco. Is it a metallic? The F150 Bronze Fire Metallic is really nice.

Look in the thread "new tacoma spotted in the great white North" it looks red but those who have seen it in person say orange.

 

It's the inferno red from the trd pro.
