Nooo I mean the bolt isn't threaded all the way down so I can't get even close to tightening the nut against the spring

I see. You'll be needing new center pins then. You've got a ton of work to do, I'd suggest starting a new thread detailing what you're doing. Post the link once you've started it.

Okay, I'll definitely tag your build in it. I've never really done a write-up before...

Also just got some new center pins. Napa had them

Just finished reading every post of your thread. Awesome build Nate! Last time I saw your truck was at the spi meet, I think that was 2012. Love the flat bed design and the fab work your doing. Congrats on "Trail Toys"!

So my bushings that came with the ruff stuff kit are too loose and the rod isn't long enough... I also can't fit it between the shackle hangers with those bushings. Did you run into this?

I didn't use the bushings from ruffstuff since I went with new leafs. That's a bummer that they don't fit. Time for another auto parts store run.

Howdy Mark, it's been a while. My rig has changed a little bit since that SPI run. How's it been?

Someone over at TTR caught a couple pictures of me on the obstacle course. I didn't realize just how bad I stuffed the front end on that one.

Probably should have stayed off the obstacle course, but I didn't break anything fortunately. (That I know of)

And yes, I thought I was going to take out that tree. Got a little sqirly on that last hit.

So just set the truck back on its wheels. We were at full stuff at ride height... So I'll have to change that shackle angle. My problem is is that the axle is 1/2 off center over towards the driver side. The leafs are completely perpendicular though. So he thinks we can shift the rears over 1/4" and just let it be 1/4 off center. If we keep the leafs perpendicular but the rear shackle mounts are shifted 1/4 to the right of the fronts will it be okay??

I wouldn't do that. Your axle won't be straight. Move front and rear mounts.

False Alarm we actually had the rear mounts crooked... Maybe... Hopefully. It's straight and not binding now. Got the ride height good too

You'll find out if it's straight when you get your alignment done.

 I did the same thing. There's nothing to adjust in the rear, but they should print out the "Thrust angle". It should be zero on both sides.

Yeah it's probably gonna be like 1/4" off. Was yours perfect?
