Just closed a deal on a 2010 Tacoma double cab 4x4 longbed with TRD Sport value package. Sticker indicated that the 6 in dash CD system had 6 speakers including 2 ceiling speakers. I cannot locate them. Has anyone had any experience with this? Also, front passenger seat should fold flat, but have no idea how this works. I am usually pretty handy, but I am stumped on these 2 items.

Hmm. I thought double cabs had speakers in the rear doors? Unlike my stupid satellite speakers in the ceiling of my access cab, which are total POS's

They are in the rear doors. Which begs the question....why does the literature say 2 ceiling speakers..are they or aren't they in the model?

If I am correct, the sport seats do not fold forward. Is there a tray behind the passenger seat? If no, then for sure it doesn't fold forward. As for those killer speakers we have in the roof, try putting the fade to rear and putting cardboard or a shirt over the rear speakers if possible. That way you will dampen that should and perhaps you will hear those speakers sing like a bird. But be forewarned, once you actually find them you will be pretty pissed to find out how bad the actually suck. lol.

Correct; none in the ceiling of a double cab.

Mine are located in the rear part of the ceiling, just above the passenger seats. They don't thump but if you turn up the volume you can fill the vibration and hear them up there.

edit: BTW I have a total of 8 speakers which includes the two ceiling speakers.
