i was thinking about this one here: The guy tells me that it's a TRD off road package and that it has a locking differential.

Does it have the Locking diff?

Was this year a good year or should I wait and get like a 2007 or newer?

Does this guy fall into the 2nd gen truck?

i'm not sure what questions to ask.

Thats not a bad deal if the mods are favorable to you. Especially if you can get him to go down a bit from his asking. For a reference. I just picked up a 06 DC Sport 4x4 AT w/ 33k miles and no mods for $21.5 from a dealer.

    22K??

I picked up my 2009 Access Cab 4x4 TRD Off Road with 12K miles for $26,500.00 I would spend an extra 4.5K for my 2009 with its features again given your choices..just my thoughts

too high a price for a prerunner for one. I have an 05 with TRD Off Road and it has the locking rear end. To verify that, when and if you look at it, check the the left of the steering wheel. There should be a button on it that say RR.

KBB says $18,250 for zip code 94127 with these options in good condition. Remember only about 5% of the cars and trucks out there are in great condition.
