Ok..... It is pretty silly when guys keep saying the same thing. I can understand the first two or three - for the others to confirm a "diagnosis" since some guys are way out in left field  o_O

I know... One day I'll get a new sig and fix it I wish it was 36* out

I did last week. Getting the 33 almost done. He asked me about some quirks on the Tacoma.
Nothing since. He's hanging in there....

    Afternoon all:
    Getting quiet in here! :notsure:
Pulled the mower deck off the garden tractor this morning to free up the tensioner pulley, then I noticed a split in the belt and needed to run and get a new belt.
    All back together; for now!

I had a little relapse 4 weeks ago, lifting landscaping blocks, A big mistake brought on by the fact that I was feeling good. I have learned my lesson, nothing like reinforcement through pain, as a good teacher. I do an hour of physical therapy, self directed, every morning and it tires me out by evening. I will try to do better about getting on here every day again. There is just so much to do and I cannot do a lot of the work at one time anymore. I try to work outside an hour a day. If I finish the job early or work for the hour and do not finish the task I stop and do not push myself.

I will have up the completed pics in a few minutes in a new post. Thank you for understanding.

I finally took some final pictures yesterday and took them into the Chiropractors office today to show two of the therapy ladies.

Ask me about anything associated with the kitchen remodel and I will be brutally honest. I wish I had been in better health during the process but I played the hand I was dealt. Overall I am extremely pleased with the outcome. Lots of practical features and the quality of the cabinets is more than I expected.

Sounds like the way I do work anymore on your other post. Little here, little there, and it gets done; except for the darn bathroom.

Kitchen looks great Tom! Cat seems happy with it, which is always a good thing. I think I see our faucet in there. ;) Sorry to hear about the back. My doctor tells me back issues are cumulative, i.e. they pile up on you over time. I have them too.

    Good morning all.

Kitchen looks beautiful Tom! Sorry about the back, but it's how you play the hand you're dealt, as I've come to expect, you're playing your hand wisely. ;) I've got a tendon or something going wrong in my left heal that I'm gonna have to get tended to when we get back to Alaska. It's been acting up for a couple months now, but I've put it of this month because of the two trips; hope I don't come to regret that. BTW, I love the glass front cabinet, really classes up the look

Went to a pool hall for BIL birthday party last night. Haven't played pool in years and it showed. But everyone had a good time. Whole gang going to Omaha Zoo today. Rehearsal dinner tomorrow and wedding Saturday. We drive back to MSP Sunday morning for the flight back to ANC. Enjoying the time catching up with family. Always fun seeing our neice and nephews. :)

Thanks Guys, it really was worth the effort but I would do it differently if I had to do it again. For starters I would wait till winter was over, PERIOD.

Dave, I developed a herniated disc between L3 and L4. This allowed the vertebra to collapse and pinch the nerve and as they say the pain was tremendous. I was a couch and chair potato for 5 weeks. The first two weeks all I could do was sleep in my chair, at most for 2 hours a night. My strength had left my hips and I work on rebuilding that strength every day now.

The good news is a disc can repair itself, which I did not know, and mine is doing an excellent job so far. The PT exercises I do are all designed to allow the disc to function normally once the disc tear heals and is filled back up with fluid. The chiropractor also helps with this process to maintain a space between L3 and L4 for the disc to fit back in there and do its job. Better than 90% of this type of injury does not require back surgery. :bananadance:
