So I was in Mexico with my girlfriend and I was showing her this surf spot I've been to and there was a dirt road that had a low spot that had been filled with water from the rain. I'd seen it when there was no water the last time I was there so I thought I'd be able to push through it. The water really wasn't that deep and I knew I'd been deeper before with no consequences. So I tried it. With just me and my cute white girlfriend. With no back up vehicle. Knowing that my tires were bald, my 4x4 wasn't engaging. Not my brightest of decisions to say the least. Anyways what happened was my tires slipped off the rocks to the right and the truck fell into a deeper spot and I was stuck. No going anywhere. After 30 seconds or so water started seeping the door....... I'm gonna leave you hanging there till I finish drying out the carpet. Further details to come..... Stay tuned putas......

A jeep with two surfers came by about 10 minutes after t happened and offered to help out. I wasn't thinking at all and didn't have any tow straps with me. We tried tiring some rope but that snapped quickly. Luckily someone who lived near by lent me theirs. After a couple minutes of attempts we were able to get it out. I ended up wrapping a giant piece of carpet in my rear axel on the passenger side. So I spent another hour laying in dirt and mud with a Swiss Army knife and a k-bar cutting away at a hand full of shredded carpet at a time. I was finally freed and decided to quickly head back to our hotel in Rosarito.
