I can tell you that I understand how you felt about the drive. I love a manual too, and have a TrD sport 4x4 DC with the 6 speed. On the second clutch and my TOB is chirping. 1st is hard to sync sometimes and I'm betting I'll change the clutch again this year (wheeling is hard on a clutch). I have the hurst short shifter and love the throw. If I drop the trany again I'll dig draper to try to make it right.
And with all of that I love the truck and have no desire for a jeep. <shrug>

Lol everyone is losing their mind over my thoughts on a jeep. I'm set on a tacoma and am going to test drive a couple more. If they don't feel right to me then I'll have a decision to make, live with and get used to it (which I can absolutely do) or switch over to something else. Not necessarily a jeep just something with 4 doors, 4x4, and a manual transmission

Yessir. Calling them tomorrow. Hopefully the dude that was interested in my truck (also in Knoxville) will call me. Would be nice to sell the truck and not have to drive forever to buy the new one.

Yea man I'd be stoked if it worked out that perfectly. Unfortunately I sent the guy a message yesterday and got no reply. Maybe he is busy.. Maybe he is being an ass and not even telling me he is not interested. I'm going to call him tomorrow and see what happens.

Hahaha I hear that. I wonder if I could buy an STI without the wife divorcing me?

Psh I'd be sleeping in that thing if I sold my truck for it Hahahaha

In a few years as long as things go as planned I will co own a business. When that happens.. I will have a toy car. For now my modding and my gun/reloading cost enough money. The wife doesn't work since our kids are still young.. So just my income for now

That and the no doors thing. Maybe it's just me but the concept of an offroad convertible with a SA up front is appealing not gonna lie. My deal is I want my car to be slightly warm in the winter and I want it to START AND DRIVE PAST 120k (looking at you Chrysler Corp ) I've been there and done that and my Mopar days are just done. Also wheeling in a Jeep can go from being super fun to super miserable depending on if you're in the front of the pack or behind the pack. Went 10 miles behind a few cars on a dusty road with no doors once and it was awful.

I think that's the appropriate/required action for posting a chevy in this thread.
