I would say you're better off with a 1 inch top plate spacer, less work than a body lift and not quite as bad as a body lift IMO

Yea it'll work but I don't like body lifts. Cause of the gaps around the truck. Looks awful to me. But that's my opinion.

I was thinking about a coil spacer but wasn't sure if they made some for just coil springs. Was either that or longer coils but a spacer is probably cheaper. I just want something cheap but works till I can get my king ext coilovers with the LR upper a arms.

Looks nice man. Baja tube style or are you doing a hybrid of tube with plate welded on?

More of a baja style but added a winch plate too. It's going to have two skid plates on those big square sections.

Nnnnnnnnniiiiiiiiiiiicccccccccceeeeeeeee lol So the 1 inch one. These sit on top of the coil spring or strut assembly correct? Also would they change the ride at all or is it just for that lift look?

Which is why it's only temporary till I get my real suspension lift. Doesn't hurt to try save my fenders and new tires. Even if I'm going to use a poor method for getting enough lift to hold me over till then. And I'm not crazy enough to go wheeling on a spacer lift

Had plenty of fun today, there was hardly any mud though. I decided that following road signs was to tough for my feeble mind and instead ended up taking some bypass off Bunco that also lead to Lakeview but it was way less groomed (fun, but had some weird washouts along the way) than Bunco. On the way back from Lakeview I took Bunco the whole way. Even saw another Tacoma while my friend and I were out there. Here are some pics...

What are you gonna do for wheelin' tunes now? I have a little Pioneer 10in 250W shallow sub in mine, down firing so I can stack stuff on and around the box.

Couple questions...how did you do your grill and did you make the letters? And the lights you have mounted at the cowl, where can I find the mounting brackets? And did you do anything special to mount the cb antenna? I really don't want to get drilling into shit to mount mine..your truck looks sick bro..nicely done!

the Grill is custom, ordered some mesh from http://www.customcargrills.com/Toyota-Truck-Grills.asp. The Letters I got off a member here... I'll have to find the thread.

The Mounts are CBI ditch light mounts(http://www.cbioffroadfab.com/produc...a-products/1stgen-tacoma-ditch-light-brackets)... I had a mount for the CB welded on the back of the passenger one, though it's going away (the mount wasn't far enough back so the spring on my antenna rubs my lights) if it was about an inch longer it might be ok... but honestly I've had trouble with that antenna for a while... so I bought a magnetic mount and a 102" whip. gonna see if that improves my reception issues.
