Slow. Cutting hours. Difficulty finding new gigs.

Like only working 40-50 hours a week ain't worth the pay cut I already took. That 10-20 hours overtime makes a difference. The welders I'm with have been doing this 10 years and say this is the slowest its been in years.

Isn't pipe lining what you've been waiting for? I think you should tough it out and see where it goes or atleast get the experience in then move somewhere that has more opportunities in what you want to do

I know the feels but I'm making double what I made last year and also making twice as much lol. Just think you'll be rewarded for waiting it out and you'll be doing what you've been wanting to do.
True but we drive tacomas so...

It took me 10 years of hard work, determination, and sticking with it to move up and quintuple my income to where it's at. My goal now is to make sure every year that number increases. Maybe a little, maybe a lot. Stick with something because six months of working somewhere won't net you six figures unless you've got the connections and education. Listen to the older guys out there. Take their knowledge collectively and implement the best of it all to yourself and you'll make it. Think about what else I told you on FB too. You have the ability.

Just a hard attitude to accept when I just want fast money now. Its hard to think "where will I be in 10 years"

You should start thinking about that sometime. Look at where you are and where you want to be then and adjust accordingly.

Also stumbled across someone you might like
