Finally had a weekend to myself,
calipers painted, new ebc rotors and pads, and took my spacers off good.
I think the green turned out pretty good

    My thoughts exactly.
They sent the pics and stuff to Toyota. Should know something with in a few weeks. More than likely frame will be replaced since it's still under warranty.

Shouldnt be a huge ordeal..... if they replace it, thatmwould be your chance to install any upgrades that would be easy for them to do so during the process. P.s. a 12 pack goes a long way to a tech with a big job like that;)

Thank you for reminding me to do a brake upgrade. Been doing a slight wobble like rotors are warping. Anyone know how hard is it to do a drum to disc brake swap? I don't like drums all that much so many pieces that can go wrong.

Why is this a bad thing? Hello new frame!
I've heard that the upgrade is not worth the cost. I looked into doing it also

They told me no wheeling or rock crawling until fixed lol that's horrible. And it could be as long as 7 months. But yeah, stoked about the new frame. If all goes well.

7 months???  It took them 3 weeks for mine. That's including the wait time to get it as well as the labor time. This was in 2012, and Texas. I was their first frame replacement ever. The guys at the dealership didn't even know the rust recall was a thing!

Least you get a new frame my 2000 tacoma wasn't so lucky. It was crushed :'(
But least toyota gave me enough money to buy a 2001 tacoma with a 5 speed and j shifter for 4x4. Only down side was no supercharger like my 2000. Wish I would of thought about asking the dealership to install the supercharger from my 2000 onto my 2001. and put the stock intake from the 01 onto the 00. But oh well.

And awww looks like I'll just leave drums in the rear then

Replaced the old bulbs in the Floods with some hid from the retrofit source. Nice and bright. Now just need to replace with some 55w ballasts.
