Would you mind indicating the mileage? I'll be doing the same as a part of my 30k service and have been curious as to what I might be able to expect.

My shit looked nothing like that, just a little grey.

I did ND4's Fog Light Anytime Mod but I tapped into pin 1 of my DIM relay so it is actually Fog with low or high beam only. I can leave the Fog button pressed in and they will turn on and off with the headlights. I also rigged up a mount for my Trail Toys NSA Switch Panel with a few dollars worth of angle brackets, bolts and washers from Home Depot. I'll post a picture once the box is mounted and wired.

I don't 'wheel anymore (for reasons too numerous to list) but when I used to I always wished for on-board air. I am towing the family camper with my new Tacoma, though, and between air for trailer/truck tires plus adjustment of the air helper springs I began to consider it. When I stumbled across cotrailrun's excellent writeup (here: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/viair-on-board-air-install.361924/) that was enough to push me over the edge, and I went for it.

One of the issues I discovered with the air springs is that the small volume of air they contain means that even checking the pressure with a gauge can bleed off 5psi or more. With that in mind, I took advantage of the other cubby as a spot for an inline Viair air gauge and the two air spring valves, plus a Blue Sea 12v socket since I was taking the time to bring quality 12v power all the way back to the rear of the truck. I also added a Blue Sea toggle switch to allow me to turn on the light for the gauge when checking the air bags after dark, tied into the parking lights circuit.

I also reinforced the backside of the cubby doors through a combo of epoxy and aluminum angle. I wanted to keep the stock look as much as possible but provide extra strength to reduce the likelihood that nefarious types would be able to easily pop off the covers and steal the goods. Along those same lines, I converted the twist locks to barrel locking units from www.ch751.com, matching the locks on our camper.
