The fucking UCA bolt on the passenger side is a mother fucker. Good news, though, drivers side done.

    All done!

I have my sway bar out, will have to put it back in later. I also need to do the bump stops.

    Truck drives good.

Will get an alignment once I do the Dakars.

The new UCA's are almost two pounds heavier than stock. I really like their construction.

    7.47 lbs. vs. 5.64 lbs.

I just did the JBA UCA install last weekend. I actually got a slight lift from that UCA as ive been running stock UCA with 885 coil and Billy lift for a about a year now.

OP did you notice if your castle nut seemed a little bit high compared to the cotter pin hole?

    Nice!

    Yes I recall that.

I torqued the castle nut to factory spec. Joint seated correctly. I took it apart to confirm and then put it back together and retorqued. Inspected joint periodically and had been solid.

Looks good man! Any advice or tips? I'm thinking of getting this setup soon and doing it myself as well.

I completed my front end yesterday, left the sway bar out, I like the feel without it...but does give pause for wondering how it would handle with emergent brake pedal

I give full credit to Michael Allen at Total Chaos for teaching me how to install my UCA. I did exactly what was prescribed in this video. I purchased some 16" groove joint pliers at harbor freight for bending the sheet metal. $15 well spent! Very happy. On the passenger side I had to move an AC hardline out of the way about 1/2" or so, but if you take your time, it should be fine. I recommend starting the drivers side first.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bbsTJgb6S_c

Excellent! I still have mine out. I have plans to put it back in though at a later date. My truck is top heavy with a 50 lb roof rack over the cab and a 150 lb shell over the bed. The body roll is predictable to me now on the street, but I know that I would have serious problems at interstate speeds when I need to execute emergency evasive maneuvers. For that reason, I will put it back in.

Full OME suspension (885 front springs, Dakar leaf pack + OME shocks) + D29XL extra leaf + 3 deg. shim + RideRite airbags
With the JBA UCA's and OME lift, is it possible to get the following alignment specs:
    camber: 0
    toe: 0
    caster: 2.4-3.1

From what I've read/researched it should be pretty easy to get 2.4 as long as the shop knows what they're doing with the aftermarket UCA's.

I've posted my post suspension alignment specs somewhere in the forum twice already. Firestone did it, my Castor is set at 2.4. Firestone flat out said they would not align to anything beyond factory spec. 2.8 is highest castor value in factory spec as I recall. That said, My truck drives awesome. Very happy with it, so much so, I wouldn't want it any other way.
