Yeah there is alot of mixed reviews, but I think the problem is alot of people hard mount that style crossmember, which is very bad.

I wish you were closer! :D

Not really any other options for supporting the transfer case. There's no provisions for a stock mount, since stock is just the trans mount.

Exactly, I am kinda anal, and can't stand the twin sticks rattling against each other. I did find out that the bushings in my crawlbox mount were shot as well, so that's probably the cause of the movement.

Adding this xmember will help keep things in check even more, while hopefully not creating too many vibrations.

I have a "stock" mount on my crawl box and have no issues with my twin stick rattling. Even before I had one of the sticks bent so I could actually get a hand on it

Heres what the FROR plate looks like from them:

So you can see just what I added. Here's what I didn't use:

No particular reason, it was just easier to use the part I did. And since it wasn't a complete "ring" to begin with I didn't lose anything structurally either.

    Anyways here's the completed pics:

do you have stock motor mounts?? I was discussing this with the ginger over some drinks in his garage one night and we were talking trans/tcase mounts. I have the 4X mount on the trans xmember, stock motor mounts and tcase/crawler unsupported hanging off the back of the trans for 7yrs now. We were talking about driveline twist and the crawler and cant figure out how i haven't broke a motor mount yet due to unchained front end due to the rear of the case being more rigidly mounted than the stock rubber mounts. I figured i was doing my motor mounts a favor by mounting the trans more rigidly than the motor, but after some physics discussions he convinced me that i am probibly doing more damage to my motor mounts than with the stock mount... Well i haven't changed anything, haven't broke anything yet.. Moral of my babbling is you may make the bent shifter problem turn into a cracked tcase problem since those bolts were meant to hold the tcase together, not withstand a few thousand foot lbs of crawler torque.

If my shifters were flopping around like crazy i would chain the motor mounts or look into the Mar Mount or whatever the hell its called (write op on marlins board).

I'm probibly going to run two stock mounts on a crossmember once i do my SAS.

U-joints are just the spicer non greasables. They were not with that kit. Cheapest place I found the yukon shafts were from Wayne on pirate4x4. Waynehartrig is his name, vendor for diffsonly.com I am not sure where Mark got his, but that is my guess.

Lol i just remember you always telling me that. Our rust always looks so much uglier than that "patina".

Wait until you ever have to work with landcruiser parts, its like if rust had a grandpa!
