    :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

    I did make sure to mention I was on a Toyota forum ALL THIS TIME, and that I'd been told on the forum and by others what great work his place does (which is totally true, I meant it). But it was funny how fast that seemed to get his attention, all of a sudden he mentioned something about a possible refund.......so apparently he does good work AND is very smart/realizes I have a rather big mouth :D I really wasn't even planning to ask for anything, as what we paid him to do was such a tiny little part of the whole thing, but if he offers I won't say no, hell, who would? :D Mostly I'm just so curious what the results are, the whole thing is still so puzzling to me....

    Eric is saying we should strap a second battery in the topper somewhere to run some kind of cooling device. Can you just do that? How?

    you can use computer fans, they move a lot of air and hardly use any power at all and you can run them off of a motorcycle battery or even a pair of 6volt square batteries connected together to make 12 volts. (that's my no power after hurricane survival fans lol)

    you hang these in there and it will have a strong breeze blowing 24/7 plus they run on less then half of 1 amp and you can get LED colored ones, a must on warm nights

Shok Industries 2/0 big 4 upgrade and sound deadener.

    Probably not just because of the amperage to kick over the compressor. You might be able to put an aux battery in your topper with a solar charger rated to supply enough to keep it charged while that runs.

    This is the best answer. No risk of draining your truck battery and everyone is stranded.

    I hate to say it, but I have not listened to any of the tracks you posted. This was the stuff I was forced to listen to when I was growing up. Got any decent alternative or classic rock:)

    OUCH! At least you were honest and tried to take the sting out of it, I'll give you that.........although I do remember one particular song I posted that you SPECIFICALLY said you listened to and liked, a Waylon song - so were you lying then or now?????????????????

    I love love love classic rock as well!! I was being sarcastic about "all you Waylon fans" - I'm guessing you are not the only one that has never listened to any of them! So what are your fave classic artists? CCR? Stones? Whatcha got?

    Can't ever go wrong with Pink Floyd, REM, U2, Billy Idol, AeroSmith, Dire Straights,Police, Styx, REO Speed wagon. I do like Nickle Back, Theory of a Dead Man, and a lot of other current rock. Way too many to list.

    Well, I just crawl under mine, stand up then walk it on, then squat down and set it on the rails. It is a older lightweight Brama canopy, so it is cheating a bit. Mine is molded white, and it will stay white even tho the truck is red.

    That's what Eric does too, but when he starts to get the topper on the truck bed, it slips around a little and scratches the crap out of the bed til he gets it centered on there. He's stubborn about asking for help too - there might be 10 neighbors standing there doing nothing, and I'm nagging him to ask (sometimes I just do it anyway!) but he won't. Men :rolleyes:

    Anyway - it can't be fun wrestling with it, help or no help, so just thinkin an elevated stand of some kind could help maybe.........

    lol. Funny. I would rather do it myself also. Other folks helping and grabbing just throws the landing off. Had more scratches added from people helping. You can add little guide sticks/rods on the corners to help with that centering issue.

    what I have seen done is screw an aluminum angle iron to the bed rail so its like a track slide for it to fall into and it sets itself in place like a boat on a trailer because the metal rail sticking up forces it to drop in place so no fighting and if anything gets scratched its just the angle iron not the truck.
