    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    they didnt fix it in the small patch yesterday. i think the one today is essentially just turning on the access to what was already downloaded on friday. i just wonder if that's going to be a permanent thing or what. the blades of crota disappeared a while back. the previous QW didnt last long.

    I wonder why they took it out? Forces us to do the first mission from the Dark Below 3 times. I quit right after I get the blade though, the repeat then repeat. That got old after the first time.

    they said it was a supposed glitch, but i dunno. i try to get multiple bounties done with that one when possible...15 sword kills, 7 in one melee, 10 kills under radiance, etc etc.

    Awesome... I will not be focused on my work for the rest of the day. Please post any tips/tricks/lessons learned from what you find this afternoon to help me when I can finally sign on tonight.

    How many pieces were you able to accend? what did you get for just getting to the reef? How's the new story mode content?

    Edit: Oh! and were you able to exchange engrams for new tier gear as soon as you signed in, or did you have to complete some of the story first?

    My idea for tonight is to try to do the new nightfall strike first so I get the extra xp through the new story line.

    PlanetDestiny already has a guide up for the new NightFall - but now that you say that, since its a new strike and they usually only unlock as the story missions get to them, we probably will need to complete the new story before you can do it.

    Green, some brown or rust coloration, a tape deck, some Creedence tapes
    All new armor start at 36 and weapons are at 331. I was able to boost my exotic armor to 42 with just an exotic shard, some materials, and glimmer to get my character about half way to level 33 (three pieces at 36 and one exotic at 42). IIRC during the reveal they said all old gear can be upgraded to 42 so you can mix and match to make your character unique. Etheric light will be required.
