bilstein set at 1.75, Racho 5000 rear with 4 leaf kit, floor mats, high lift jack, pull hook in hitch, bed rail corner braces, severe duty brake pads and devil horns on the grill....
Tax return came in and had a weeks business travel, so truck and cap went to a local paint shop for some TLC...Note that we live in Tenessee and have season Vols football tickets...

Let me know what you think. 265/75R16 tires, billes at 1.75 front, TSB four leaf springs in rear.

Great looking truck and cap although that "T" for "Tide" in the grill should be Crimson. RTR

Love the natural look. Nice place.

Former neighbor was a Bear Cat. Flew both Cincinatti and Ohio State flags at his house.

At least you and I are both Tacoma fans.

Howard, How do I say this... Tennessee Volunteers fan and season tickets.... You have my deepest sympathy. I do hope your season this year is better than it has been for the last few. I do however root for you guys as long as you are playing someone other than My GA Bulldogs. I really root for the Vols when they play those @sshole Gators!

    The truck looks good too!

    Good luck!

This was intended on a cap and detail post, not SEC football...but I will take what I can get. The road the truck is parked on leads to our 30 acres and 600,000 acres of Cherokee National Forest. We sold our big John Deere commercial mower in 2009 and now do our grounds maintenance with twice yearly weed wacking of the slopes and all the normally mowed areas have been transitioned into wildflower meadows. However, the chain saw is often used to keep roads and trails open...

Sorry about the diversion from Truck & cap paint. I just could not resist when I saw the Orange Toyota emblem in the grill. Then the comments took a life of their own.

I really do like your truck and cap, and also your spread.

Now hopefully the thread will get back on topic .

thanks...did you notice the orange pin stripping down the length of the body?

My wife thinks the truck no longer looks close to stock...

It is still parked where we took the photos yesterday and we are carpooling in the wife's WRX:)

Next projects are house projects, like a new woodshop for the wife!

I thought the pinstripes indicated the Vols travel uniforms. Sorry I can't stop this SEC thing.

Yeah. Have to buy my wife a new gun and fishing tackle too sometimes. Had not thought that she may have wanted a wood shop for Mother's Day. Maybe a chainsaw too. Your wife could use one with 30 acres.

Actually, my wife attends wood working classes at a local folk school, makes chairs from scratch, buys old chairs from yard sales and reweaves the bottoms out of cane, and turns bowls on a lathe. One of our three chainsaws is configured with a rip chain so she can easily cut turning blanks out of tree trunks. She has purchased a good quality band saw and wood lathe, plus we have a decent table saw, joiner, planer and drill press. Dedicated space is what she needs now so we won't cross contaminate my mechanical and welding projects and her wood projects. Right now she has her own bench space with lights, power, compressed air and a heater. Now, the only problem is that she thinks cabinet full of sandpaper, grinding wheels, abrasive pads, spirals and such is common stock that automatically gets refilled by the sandpaper fairy:)

Now, the Stilh Farm Boss MS290 is a bit heavy for her, but the older 028 is just fine:)

Did anyone mention your wife is a keeper?

She sounds almost as good as my friend's wife from West Virginia(her not him, he is from Buckatunna, MS). She washes and waxes his truck, Rhino, processed his deer after he skins and quarters them, mows the lawn, and keeps an immaculate house. Great cook too.

I told him to take good care of her as Old Shiny Shoes may show up with a suit, flowers, and an offer for dinner and dancing.

Why thank you, she is a keeper...I would talk about her other fine qualities, like she has a good job in town that pays twice what I earn as an engineer, or that she own four of her OWN motorcycles and maintains them herself or that she is fantastic at selecting and cooking meat of all types, but you might get jealous:)

The cap was bought used off a local seller from TW for $750, the paint shop bill for painting the silver cap white, the pinstrips and the orange paint on the grill piece was $800, from a local shop. A new cap, with the matching white color in the gel coat would have been more:)
