I have comp. controls on mine... I keep it at the softest setting for everyday driving and stiffen it up a little when wheeling...
I do wish my soft setting was a little softer but I guess custom valving would be the only way to achieve this at this point.

 

I haven't played with the settings yet but with ten, it will keep me busy.

 

Ill probably never touch mine, too lazy

It's been dead. Between Moab prep and all of us acquiring houses not much has been going on. How was the cruise?

 

Cruise was good. Did the worlds longest zip line over water in Labadee, Haiti. Got shit faced in Bermuda and lost my drinking privileges on the ship for 4 days lol.

Whos all going to Moab? Just Jay and Craig?

Royal Caribbean from Bayonne NJ. 10 Nights. Stopped in Bermuda, St Maarten, Puerto Rico, Haiti. Ship was Liberty of the Seas.

Overall I liked it, and i'm sure i'll do many more cruises. One thing i didn't like is that it was so crowded. I usually prefer trips that are more remote with no one else around, so to be stuck with 4,000 other people was weird.

 

a few years back we did a royal Caribbean out of Miami in January. It felt like a local summer on the ship, still a lot of people but not as bad as a spring/summer cruise. The destinations weren't busy either.

Was weird flying out of snowy NJ & landing in sunny Miami

 

anyone near west berlin, NJ have a 2nd gen with an OME or Bilstein and is lifted 2 or 3"s?
i currently have Icons on but im not really happy with how they feel on the road and im considering replacing them...would like to get a ride in a truck with these 2 alternatives and see if the ride is better or worse to help me make my decision.

or...if theres any type of meets coming up for installs etc you guys do sometimes, i can talk to some of you there...thanx for any help.

 

What Icons do you have? I have OME springs and struts in the front & it drives like a lifted truck, not sure what kind of ride your after.

 

I have the 2.5 extended travel up front and the 2.0 with reservoirs in the rear and Dakars. its hard to say exactly what im looking and thus the reason for me asking.
i had an 05 4runner that was lifted 3" and it didnt ride like a "lifted truck" so im not quite sure what you mean by that.
the best way i can describe my issue is if you have a bad shock and you ride over a bump...you get that shaking from the rear as if the tire is bouncing up and down?!?! thats what i feel if i drive this thing at speeds. i thought it would absorb those kind of road conditions a little better than it does.
