That would be awesome...though I recall it (like damn near everything but an oil change) involved body panel disassembly on a Burgman.

I think the clunking in the rear end that I've been hearing is a blown shock. What else would only start making noise after you've been driving a while?

If I'm right, I blame New England pothole filled roads for destroying one of my 5100s in 6 months.

Anyone know anyone who has a newer Nissan Frontier? I have a few items that I no longer need (bed extender, bed rail tie downs, and a hitch ball mount from the factory towing package). They are eating up space in my shed and not looking to make a profit at all.

Ha yeah had that truck for about a year. Was a sweet little vehicle, but didn't get enough chicks. Thanks ford! I use the windshield wipers to clear the panties off now.

Another question for you guys. I want to avoid any sort of rust in the rear wheel well arches (place almost every NE truck inevitably gets rust at some point). I always wash up in there, and pay good attention to the lip and just up under the panel where the tires always kick up crud.

Would spraying a rubberized bed liner up in there help prevent any rusting, or would it create a trap point for water to sit and speed it up? If that is not the best idea, other than washing and waxing, what could be done for longevity?

If you can prep the area and apply a rubberized undercoating, that would certainly help. I'm not sure if you saw them or not, but Ford sells a wheel well liner kit also that protects that area from being constantly sand blasted. So far, I've just kept up with washing that area and it's done alright.

Didn't you just get that truck?

Don't buy a Ram and you'll be fine.

Yeah had it for about a year. Right after I got it, I partnered up in a different company that requires me to drive all over the place and that Frontier got real small, real quick (timing of the new purchase sucked for sure). Now have an Ecoboost and am getting about 22 mpg right now too which blows the frontiers 17 out of the water.

Funny enough, my father in law had a Ram that fell apart from rust. He wasn't the most fastidious with his cleaning of the truck, but the wheel wells all rotted through and the rocker panels were toast.
