I can't let the wife know
Finally installed them. I did have a hard time putting them together. The coil compressor I rented at Pep boys was not up to the task. I luckily bought this and made it much easier.

Here is a picture with the 5100 on the left side and the 6112 on the right. Both are set to 2.5. I got around 2.75 with the 6112 ,and with the 5100 I got around 2 inches. Stock coils installed on the 5100 and the 6112, has the coils it comes with. My truck does have metal skids underneath.

My CV axles don't like it. I will drive it for about 300-500 miles and see how much it settles. If I can't get it closer to 2.5 I will lower it to the next notch.

Nice, looks like you're on the highest setting.
Hows the ride compared to 5100?

Feels the same on the road. I need to take them off road. I have no sway bar and I did have to swerve out the way from this idiot going about 35mph, and had no body roll. I did have slight body roll with 5100.

Nice write up Alex!Still not sure eventually when i can afford it to go with the 5100's or 6112's.

I never had the sway bar on.I had more body roll with the 5100.6112 feel firm, but doesn't affect ride quality. I will try to hit up a dirt road by next week.

Boost, armor, lights, big tires, no savings.
Are you still liking the 6112s? Any idea how heavy your front bumper is? Trying to decide on coil overs and want to be sure it can support a steel plate bumper and skids.

Also curious on front bumper and skid plate weights. Trying to decide what clip setting to run for around 2" lift with an All-Pro Apex front bumper (no winch and planing on aluminum skid) around 140lbs. Im thinking 3rd clip.

    Bil 6112/5160's etc.
3rd up from the bottom gives 1.75 - 2" with no armor/skids. You'll want to run at lease 4th setting if not the top.

fog-on mod, locking tail gate, best top, window tint, back-up led bulbs, or-fab mid skid plate, bfgoodrich mud t/a 255/756/17. ultrawheel xtreme x-lok.
Got them on 4the highest setting, I have steel skid-plates, and it sits under 22" hub to fender.
The ride is great ,but need to get more lift in the front to level the rear, it's at 24 "
