    All sounds good to me I have never went off road with my 09 or my 15. My 15 isn't lifted yet only 5k on it so far. I do have some nice mud tires. Some thing light or with light options would be good for me. Don't wanna get left behind.

    There are some very tame shots of Wills Creek in my signature link. Very tame... because you can't take pics in the rougher stuff. Last time I went through there with my wife in the truck she was screaming and ripping on the grab handle, at one point she thought we were going to go end over end and I think was looking for an exit strategy!

    Here's some pics of those other roads I referenced from enduro rides:

    Yes this is a road:

    I wouldn't mind driving on stuff like you just posted. The deep water parts I wouldn't do. I have a brand new truck and it's my daily driver. Plus I couldn't bare the thought of effing it up. Mud and trails and good with me. Boulders and creeks are a no go zone.

    As for my skill level, I have never driven off road before and my truck has no lift and stock tires.

    Well WHAT?!..

    Haha I havn't made a trip to check any of these places out yet, last Saturday I ended up doing some errands and boring life stuff:oops:
    Just a busy week for me what with leaving both my jobs and preparing for a month and a half trip out West. I'd like to check out a couple of the places you mentioned sometime this week, I'll either need to recruit you as a guide or go get some of the old maps you mentioned as none of the roads that you listed are the current names one can find online (no surprise there).

    I'm getting some welding done on the truck tomorrow, then putting a new header on Thursday, fingers crossed that it goes on without exhaust modding:pray: ..but this weekend is a possibility, let me know if you're free.

    Cheers

    very interested in this. i've gone offroading several times. even going to yankee lake in ohio is sometimes fun (although its mostly a giant mud pit with maybe only 1 mile of actual trails). MeefZah my fiance is from T-county. I wouldn't mind meeting up with you and going for a little trail ride. let me know

    @cgs2k2 Welcome to the party!!

    Very happy to see new people finding the thread each week, the possibility of a late July mega meet is looking better all the time. I may slip into some threads from the surrounding areas and ask if our Penn, WV, Tenn, NC, etc brothers would want to join us later in the summer.

    If this weekend works for you, @MeefZah @ogg @intoit247 @jamiec @Tretiak30 @outdoorwhore or anyone else that wishes to join I would absolutely make time to wheel with you guys.

    Haha! Yeah... her family lives in Strasburg and it's actually pretty nice/quaint. Better than New Philly I think.

    But yeah, count me in for whatever ends up happening. I live in Cleveland and would travel within reasonable distance. Whether it's just a meet up or a trail run. Would love to explore those old roads.

    Hell yeah. I had court at 1:00 but I've been wasting the day other than that. I'll tell you what, I'll actually write down my route and pre run it on my enduro in the next few days and then it will be ready to go for anyone who wants to do it on their own or whenever 1 or 2 guys want to come down and do it with me.

    Aight that sounds good, I'll be out of state next Monday through sometime in July but if you wanted to do a run this weekend I'm game. Also, I'll have my enduro with me in July so we'd have free reign to do some shit then that the 4x4s just can't handle.
