Recently put some Alpine 6.5" components front and back in the truck (SPS-610C). mounted tweeters in the rear cab as well. Front tweeter covers are from a 4Runner Limited. Bass is coming from Kicker Hideaway under the passenger seat. Hifonics 4 channel under the driver seat is driving the components. Loving the way it sounds!!

Just called tepui. They don't know alot about the group buy but they said there will still be a warranty through a group buy.

Even if it's one member purchasing the tents from them then reselling to a multitude of individuals? Rather than the multiple individuals ordering directly from Tepui?

Seems awfully risky by Tepui to offer such a transferable warranty.

Tepui told me that in a group buy you pay them directly therefore you get the warranty. So if the person who set this up is doing it that way there shouldn't be any issues. If they are actually buying a large quantity at a lower price and reselling them them i don't know about that. it does however say they will ship or picked up from tepui directly. So i imagine it will be a group buy with a warranty

I think he is a dealer and then he is just buying in bulk and selling them for either his price or a cheaper price :notsure:

    i have two questions today:
-how do i go about testing my ARB locker when i get my compressor installed? put the truck on jack stands? or just drive around the block and see if the back wheels hop when i turn?

-A leaky passenger side shaft means i need a new rack eventually right? (where the inner tie rod connects to rack) Ive called around a few places for a steering rack and heres what i came up with
-rack Dr. = 384$ base price then get 100 for core back 284$ total
-OEM from camel back = 548$ total (plus additional freight charges for oversized package)
-CVJ = 706$ base price then get 225$ for core back 481$ total

the rack dr and CVJ prices include shipping + core return shipping.

Not sure if i should just go rack dr or OEM.. I do plan on doing a SAS within the next 3 or 4 years.

If i go w/ OEM does anyone think that one of these companies would want to buy my core w/o me buying a reman'd rack from them?

I couldnt find any reviews on CVJ racks. I heard good things about their axles but nothing about racks. Anyone have one in use right now?

When I was looking at steering racks, it seemed like RackDr was most recommended.

I went with rack doctor and everything went well and I got my core return back pretty fast. So far it's been good but it's only been on for a few thousand miles
