    I never made a comparison. I made a statement. A statement referring to another statement of why engineers probably choose to equip vehicles with ABS. Engineers don't equip vehicles with ABS for stopping on snow or gravel faster.

    See the logic there? Of course you don't.

    Why does this stupid forum bump for a poster that I can't even see? I'm guessing MouseMush has me banned for some reason?

    I keep clicking to see an update and nothing comes up:annoyed:

    Edit: Nevermind, I figured it out. This new format is messing with me.

    But you quoted my quote quote?

    Can we lock this thread until winter again. Just like hot chocolate, this thread just doesn't do anything for me at this time of year.

    Just a heads up I installed an ABS disable switch for off road use this year :anonymous:

    I thought the main incident on this thread was not being able to stop on a downhill right before an intersection with semi's flying back and forth every second :notsure:.

    No frost = shitty tasting apples.

    Shitty tasting apples can interfere with proper ABS operation. If you drop the shitty apple on the floor board it could get stuck under the brake pedal and cause improper ABS and brake functioning.

    Shit, I think I just solved our mystery. Stop eating terrible tasting apples from areas without frost.

    You better tell all the retirement folks that. That might actually eliminate a few more "ABS related" accidents in your neck of the woods.

    No contribution, just doing my part to move this thread along. Because if this crippled charley foxtrot of a thread can survive on life support for a few months until winter hits that would be awesome.

    If it would just snow* here I'd gladly go test out the ABS :fingerscrossed:

    * Or rain . . . Or even a fog. :notsure:

    Only precipitation around here is the spittle on my keyboard after I read "CCF" and then realized that it was actually to be read "Crippled CF".
