The one Ray posted above looks like the one. I'm too many beers deep to hunt through receipts. The challenge was finding adapters to mate the metric brake lines to the SAE proportioning valve.

If you want idiot proof, FROR makes a kit intended to bolt into the master cylinder. If I had to do it over again, I would probably go that route just to save myself the heartache of finding the correct adapters and what some would consider "shady" practices. But it's still working 3 years later, so IDGAF.

Ehhh its half way easy. The install of the valve is easy, but you need to remove all the LSPV shit. The way the LSPV works is it redirects brake pressure back to the front based on load in the bed. When you swap to a manual proportioning valve, you have to remove all the circle jerk of brake lines.

Two handy links, one is mine and one is JD's. JD's has colors and numbers and shit to make it easier.

Thanks for the links. I saw this when I was looking for pedal assemblies. Might be a 'nice to have' option.

Do all our trucks have that lspv thing or is that just for trucks with abs? In other words how do I know if I already have a manual proportioning valve or an lspv?

AFAIK, all Toyota trucks came from the factory with LSPV in the brake system. This should not be modified or bypassed unless you lift (or lower) the truck, or have unusual load-carrying requirements.

Im not sure but i don't think it matters if you have lift or not, you could still install one of these. Just have to adjust it properly.

thanks for the link/info, i had my eye on the LCE one.

Gotta love that you can go to them anytime for the life of the tires and they will balance, inflate, or patch the tires for free. I have even gone just to have my lug nuts torqued to spec. I love it!

I thought you said you were shocked at how quickly you burned through those pads.

Or am I confusing that with the time you were shocked at how shredded I am?
